Home again in Wales!
There was only one correct prediction for last weekend's defeat at Accrington Stanley, but does that indicate the defeat was 'just one of those things' or that we are a tad over optimistic about our quality? Difficult to tell, but Saturday's home game will give us a better idea.

Will we put the Shrimps on the barbie or will the managerless crustaceans have the 'ken' to undo us at Fortress Racecourse?

Defeat is never good, but something we must start to accept is possible as we climb up the EFL pyramid. Last week's performance was more 'flat' than terrible, as we have played as poorly yet won. Stanley simply did more than we did. Time to put it behind us and focus on a game which we should win.

Their away form is not too hot: W3 D0 L5 +11 -15 GD-4 with no clean-sheets and have failed to score on 3 occasions. Yet they are 9th, which is due to their good home form.

PP has the headache of choosing between McClean or Mendy at LWB, but has a question-mark over TOC's availability after picking up a slight strain. Boyle has not impressed me so far, but guess he'll get the nod over Cleworth, who has been exiled to the Moon.

The other decision for PP is his starting strikers. Mullin will start, and hopefully has his 'scoring-boots' on instead of his slippers. But will it be Palmer or Dalby alongside him. I was surprised Dalby started last week, as he is better coming off the bench for the last 30 minutes, leaving Palmer to grapple with the defenders to wear them down.

I think we will win, and win well. There are points to prove and to win.

I saw something about John Coleman being favourites for the Morecombe job and for a second I thought they'd already appointed him- didn't fancy playing against another rone of his teams so soon after last weekend.

We usually bounce back after defeat.

3-1

Decision between McClean or Mendy will be based on who has recovered best from International duty. Palmer starts for me every time if available

Hayden and O'Connor were both awful last weekend so can see at least one change there. I just can't warm to Boyle (pardon the pun) so would prefer Evans in there if needs be.

If we can nail down that back 3 it will go far in securing us promotion but either side of Tozer is like a hospital ward and even the man himself is struggling with a knee injury.

For me it will only be injuries that stop us getting top 3 because this is a top 3 squad but somehow we need to get players off the treatment table

We will bounce back, we always do.

For me Maclean will start, less travelling time than Mendy..

Palmer on from the start, introduce Dalby on 65 mins.

Hayden should be nowhere near first eleven at the moment, he is way off the levels expected at this level.

Wrexham 4. Morecombe 0

Scorers... Lee x 2, Mullin, Dalby

We will definitely concede if Boyle and Tozer are playing in the same team. Hopefully, we'll be able to outscore them. I'll go for a 3-2 win.

Delighted to have the International M’s back. Gives us options, depth, and a stronger starting eleven.

Got to believe in the win: 2-1, Mullin and Lee.

Edited to add: if last week’s match is a sign of things to come, it’s going to be a long season.

Watched a few videos of them last night. They are a team who can cause us a few problems on the break where they are quick down the flanks and have midfield runners busting a gut through the middle. Evans in midfield is savvy enough to nulify that threat, ditto McClean on the left but its down our right side where they may get some luck.

Hoping for a routine 2-0 win following last week's ****-show but this could be a close game.

Looking forwards to it. Company I work for has given every non-US employee a bonus day off for Thanksgiving. I'm just thankful that the weather forecast is better than for the other drives up this season which has seen some biblical rain.

Not sure about the score but I predict that a steam train will pass by by at 3.41
