Peterborough Ratings - 1-0

Okonkwo 6 Nothing to do but kicking game good- so slow with distribution today though

Revan 6 Ok- needs to whip ball in faster though and takes too many touches

Mendy 6 There were times it looked like it was first time he played 11 a side- constantly being told by EOC where to be but did his job given he will be rusty

Max and Tom 7 Both solid and played well. Max looks knackered though

EOC 8- he is so important for us. The odd error stands out but he’s the one that gets us ticking

Cannon 7.5- very good and ran himself into ground. Keeps place ahead of Dobson for me

James 6 Not his best today, didnt handle being man marked very well

Rathbone 9- incredible, brilliant cross and workmate off the charts. He sprinted past Faal in 90th minute to press (come on to that in a moment)

Mullin and Palmer 5- They both look well off it, nothing sticking at the moment and no pace

Subs
Fletcher 8 - brilliant goal, ball sticks, he scares teams
Faal 5 can he actually sprint?? He was given 20 minutes to impress and didn’t exactly kill himself out there!
McLean 7- showed in 20 minutes more footballing ability than Mendy had shown whole game

End of 4 quick matches I appreciate, but that was a tough watch today and I expected more from two wing backs and we 💯 need to sign at least one striker asap
I think the reason Arthur was slow with the distribution was because their was slow movement up front.

Thought he didn't touch the ball much but every touch seemed positive, and his positioning was much better. Unlucky not to score.

3 indicates a very poor performance that has negatively impacted the team. Very harsh.
What he gives us is having both forwards in the box when we attack

I don't think he had a negative impact, likewise I don't feel he contributed much in his 20 minutes.

Revan putting in another Revan performance.

As an aside what’s Theo Bailey-Jones upto these days.
Not his biggest fan, but didn’t think he was that bad. Certainly a big improvement in his defending today.

He certainly wasn’t as bad as some made out.

I said my piece in September have seen nothing since to change my mind.

Very generous. In my opinion scores don’t get bumped up after a last minute winner.

Everyone down by a point imo.

Glad you are not one of PP's background team left to motivate the lads for the next game.

He's fast, but I thought he got beaten for pace a few times (but I can't remember the player who did it). Peterborough do seem to have a lot of speedsters on their team, so that must have been in Parky's mind when he selected him.
During the game, I wasn't complimentary about his shots on goals, but in hindsight, I applaud him for having the goes. He missed the target, but at least he was trying to test the goalie, who in all honesty didn't really have a lot to do today,
