Port Vale tickets for the EFL trophy have gone on general sale today.

however, unlike the Newcastle game, it seems you can now only buy 1 ticket and cannot buy multiple for other non members - is this correct?

I have 2 friends wanting to come along who are non-members - and one of them came to the Newcastle game with me with a ticket I was able to purchase over and above my membership

if the above is correct, it isn't really making it fan friendly is it!?

Edit:

as suggested below, anyone now purchasing tickets for general sale has to be registered on the eticketing website so they are assigned a customer number. Members can then set them up in their network to buy tickets on their behalf.

Just click how many tickets you want and buy them. Doesn’t seem to be any problem.

Pick as many as you want. Just ignore the assign to member page.

have you actually managed to buy them then?

Hopefully you should just need to create standard (free) accounts on the e-ticketing site for your friends and then add their membership numbers into your network.

https://www.eticketing.co.uk/wrexhamafc/Authentication/Registration?returnUrl=/wrexhamafc/

Then you will be able to assign them to the individual ticket/seat types.

surely you wont get a membership number on a free account though?

to me it seems like they havent pressed the button on general sales

No, you do get a membership number. Signed one of my kids up to test it.

You just need an email address and they also require a DOB. Whether the DOB needs to be precise would probably only be found out if they questioned the ticket type trying to be used at the turnstiles.
