Praise for the team and Parky Ball

‘Not the Top 20’ Podcast also praised “Sexy Wrexham” this week. People are looking beyond the razzmatazz. These guys were pundits on the EFL highlights programme a few years ago when it was based. In the studio.

Too many of these idiots these days. I have no time or care one bit what they think, as harsh as this sounds. I miss Alan Hansen and co. Proper pundits.

I listen to NTTT podcast and the odd thing is only one of the chaps actually talks about Wrexham..... the other never says anything but is vocal about all other teams.

I have noticed with many general football podcasts a reluctance too spend much time discussing us compared to other clubs. I think some worry that it'll turn other fans off now given we've become very marmite.

Marmite is horrible, Wrexham are great the moment. BTW, go vegemite. 🇦🇺

That's only fairly recent when Queen's Park was built.
What is that supposed to mean? Both sides of my family lived in Queen’s Park at times and not a scouser amongst us. Or was it just a sh1tty dig?

Sorry, it was not meant as an insult at all, neither to you and your family nor the scousers.
It's just an observation that I don't remember anybody from Liverpool in Wrexham until the Queen's Park estate was built and there was a big population influx.

There's been some comments about how Posh didn't have a shot on goal, including this video, but it didn't exactly feel like that watching the match. I watched the highlights and although there were no shots on target, they had numerous big chances that went just wide or high. Okonkwo may not have made a save, but he positioned himself very well multiple times that resulted in misdirected shots. I wouldn't doubt it's already out there, but I think having a near miss stat is as useful as shots on target. A near miss will get the heart rate up way more than a weak shot on goal that gets "saved."

I’d rather just stick to goals scored than a near miss stat
