He either said on his podcast or fozcast that there was another player goalkeeper called Champ, so they called him Chomp. Can't quite recall the reasoning but was something daft like that?

Just a curious neighbor sticking his nose over the fence. When the WST agreed to sell the football club to Rob and Ryan for 2mil, how was that money spent and/or divided?
It's quite a common error when the media talk about the takeover but they didn't sell it for 2 million. They agreed to let them take over the club for nothing provided they put 2 million in cash into the club - which couldn't be claimed back later as a loan.
That could have been Gary Sprake's (Goalie Leeds and Wales) nickname.
I remember him chucking the ball into the back of his own net once.
