It's only about 2 miles from the town centre to the ground, about 40 mins walk at a reasonable pace.

Sounds like a new Declan Swans song

Parking restrictions all in place,
Meole Brace is the parking space.
Five quid a car, it’s not too far,
SY3 9NB – there you are!

Bellway Housing’s got a road,
Hereford side, the new postcode.
For the what3words, don’t miss your mark:
Stop, puddles, assist – now park!

AI is taking over!
I asked ChatGPT to come up with something
Title: "Shrewsbury, Time to Cry"
(In the style of Always Sunny in Wrexham, with that cheeky Declan Swans energy)

[Verse]
We came to town, took all your pride,
Shrewsbury tried, but they couldn’t hide,
Wrexham’s fire, it burns too bright,
We took the win, and you took flight!
A few good chances, but nothing right,
Shrewsbury’s dreams just outta sight!

[Chorus]
Shrewsbury, time to cry,
We’re the kings, and you’re last to try!
We’re flying high, while you’re stuck below,
Wrexham’s the team, now it’s time to go!
Shrewsbury, time to cry,
We’ll take the win, and you’ll ask why!

In hindsight, how mental was that Favish saga?
