Hate is an overused word, I don’t hate anyone, unless they deserve it! The Shrews have been amazing over the past 40 odd years and have generally punched above their weight. Achieving quite a lot, on next to no resource. Good owner and management I bet. We have had crap owners and under performing management and sank to our lowest ever point (until 3 years ago).
Football rivalries are based on locality, jealousy and a lot of male childishness. Most clubs fans (NOT just Shrewsbury fans) say that they “dislike us intensely” because of our financial situation brought about by our owners. They think that we have been given **** loads of cash to spend and are burning up the leagues.
We are doing well, but a lot of our dosh comes from clever sponsorship deals following on from W2W and the like. Without our new benefactors, we would have gone bust long ago! R&R could have approached most clubs in leagues 2-5(with a view to a takeover) and got a favourable response. Thank God they chose us.
So all these rival fans are spouting drivel, because they would ALL have said yes to R&R. They are just jealous!

Hmmm.......a very good point. Both Bradford and Tranmere attacked the Tech end second half after winning the toss and went on to win 1-0 last season. Watch for this tactic on Saturday
