Keep hearing this song rattling around in my head - The Wrexham Bop - thought I’d share it with you… It’s written to The Ramones “Blitzkrieg Bop”, Intro-Verse-Verse-Chorus-Verse-Verse(2 lines)-Outro, and at 150 bpm (slower than original 177 bpm) to go about 60 seconds. The parts in parentheses in the chorus are where you might swap out plays / players, e.g. “Chip in by Cannon”, or if Okonkwo’s not playing “let’s go, go, go!”. Can’t fault the effort but this is a bit too complex for the average football fan especially after 6 pints of Wrexham Lager before kick off.

One more thing - we absolutely fluffing hate the word ‘go’ as in ‘go Wrexham’. We tend to use c’mon as in c’mon Wrexham or c’mon the Town.

As I say on nearly every song thread, no song ever catches on workshopped on an internet forum.

Go to a game and sing it. If it's good people will join in. If it's not they won't and you'll look like a bit of a wally for 5 minutes and then people will forget it unless you're on your own belting one out about a player's privates.

Although I'm guessing this one probably wouldn't catch on.
