Just been chatting to a few guys in a pub in Sydney.

Aussie guy says I only know of one team in England …. Wrexham, love that doco

a few of the local guides in Borneo recognised my wrexham logo recently too!

Hope you told him we are in Wales not england

Bet you're fun at parties!

Pretty obvious he would've meant the system we play in rather than where our ground is located. To me saying 'Wrexham play in England' is completely forgivable, especially from someone on the other side of the planet.

my daughter is out there and went for a Job interview earlier this year, when asked about her home town as a first ice break question, she told them and all the interview panel knew about Wrexham and spent more time chatting about the place than being interviewed.... she got the job lol

Growing fan base in Iceland by all accounts based around a suburban sports bar called Ölver.

I went on holiday to Iceland in July and the guys at passport control at the airport saw that I was born in Wrexham and they were off and running. Told me how they loved the series and were hoping to come over for a visit.

Same story last month going there with work. I was on a flight from Chicago and the people in the passport queue behind me shouted " we love it too" when I was at the window.

I had the same in Portugal pre takeover. Passport control guy was a Porto fan and said "Wrexham is a very bad team for me"!

Considering the bloke hasn't heard of man United or Liverpool I wouldn't bet that geography is his strong point. See you at nanas 90th birthday bash.
