On first viewing I'd say it's an OK episode (compared to the last 2 which were great)
Bit of a discourse about the emotions from players and fans in derby games (hence the title).
Then the back story to why (other clubs) fans hate James McClean so much. I'm sure that segment stands a good chance of alienating many English fans who watch the show, but it was a nuanced and sympathetic explanation of why he makes the stand he does. Yet again the technique was used of showing the outrage that's out there by screening explicit expletive riddled screenshots from 'X' (is it now called that because so much of it is X rated?). Regardless of your view of James, no one, nor their families, should have to endure such vile threats!
A bit about the ladies too, which picked up on the 'trouble' theme a bit by showing more crunching tackles than usual. This was taken around the time that the league split into the champion and relegation groups and a lot of talk from the team and manager about getting top 2 or better, which, of course, didn't pan out.
A bit more football than usual and with the men's automatic promotion by no means achieved yet, it sets the scene nicely for the final episode.
