Discussion thread for Episode 10

Caution this thread will contain spoilers for those who have not watched it

Unfortunate occurrences at the first home game attended by the Co-Chairmen lead to a police investigation and raise the ugly spectre of football Hooliganism.

for me byfar the worst episode, generalised hooligans world wide not just Wrexhams, focused on a wxm hooligan who was in the Turf scene, not for me wont watch that episode again

G-R-I-T-T-Y!
If ever we thought Rob and Ryan didn't know or didn't care about the hooligans, then this proves us wrong.
Gritty, powerful, understanding and yet again grounded in what it means to the community.
Hard to watch, especially if you (like me) just don't get the 'why' about hooliganism, but nevertheless an important, if troubling, element to the Wrexham story.
My only quibble is the hooligans scenes were presented without context. Most were not Wrexham, several were not even in Britain - a new viewer could easily not grasp that.
Finally, to Jonny's girlfriend: you know the right decision to make, so make it!

She already has a while back.

Can’t say I’m too comfortable at how heavily he was featured give some of the details out there in the public domain.

A very generalised episode which highlights other clubs and nations more than wrecsam. Thought the lad explained it as well as he could with them showing the negative impacts of being involved in that life.

Not sure Liverpool will be too happy given the fact they spent the best part of 10 years blaming Chelsea and the NF for Heysel.

Not the best episode and quite frankly not sure it added any value

She already has a while back.

She's wasted on him - what a total dickhead. Somebody who needs to take a long hard look at themselves and grow up.

A poor episode and not one I'll watch again to be honest. I expected this one to be about the rivalry with Chester but in reality its a fairly gratuitous look at the history of football violence with most of the scenes being from Europe and of course Engerland away games.

Dave the copper comes across well as does Mike Jones the guy who was set up by Wrexham fans at Wrexham General by a mob of teenagers.

Moving quickly on to the next episode.

I’m really surprised R and R have done this. It will possibly turn off some of the non Wrexham fans who are watching the series, as would the foray amongst the idiots in the Turf a few episodes back. Also a danger that in the minds of some (ie the masked morons) the hooligan thing will be glamourised and made more appealing.

Massive error by R and R.

Nearly all the trouble shown was other clubs and abroad ,made it seem like there was aggro at every game ! Not really sure what this added to the story and as Foxy mentioned just might glamourise the issue

Didn’t enjoy this episode and can’t see what it adds
