Welcome to Wrexham S1E3 "Rebuilding" discussion thread (spoilers)

Enjoyable episode. Wouldn’t have minded seeing more of the Rob Mac/Parky conversation and any of the Rob Mac/Mullin conversation. Our camera shy CEO is the best in the business apparently.

Ryan's expression and tone of voice spoke volumes there - I'm guessing that her being named as CEO was conditional on her being a key part of the documentary. Ryan looked REALLY pissed off in a low key Canadian way.

Think you're overthinking it. It looked to me like his typical deadpan humour.

She didn't want the cameras to see that she actually does nothing day-to-day.

I don't get the issue. if she doesn't want to be on camera, i'm sure she has every right to not be!
Some people just don't want the limelight. I don't think theres some big conspiracy theory that she actually spends all day playing Super Mario in her office, and doesn't want that shown on screen!

You’re saying she prefers Crash Bandicoot?

That was my take too. They'd also just made the point they needed someone to come in and do the day to day jobs of running the club- so that's more important than appearing in the documentary I'd have thought.

What has struck me so far is how lucky we are to have Rob and Ryan. But also been incredibly impressed with Humphrey and Shaun..
