Strong Father Ted vibes reading the title but this episode focuses on Patagonia not Craggy Island.

Its a cracker.

Just a word of warning - a really good one to sit down with the kids to watch given the focus on the history of the Welsh community in South America. Really interesting stuff. Only caveat is that towards the end Parky drops the c-bomb in his pre-match team talk v Accrington Stanley at home. Surprised they left that in.

Good varied episode. I’m pretty sure our away form was never the worst in the entire league though so the graphic showing it was is misleading.

Parky dropping the C bomb was my highlight.

Really enjoyed that one. The stuff about the Patagonians was interesting, as was Mendy at the AFCON.

Even the bad memories of the period when we were faltering, partocularly away from home, was good to look back on. People calling for Parkys head, tweeting that Mullin was finished etc. Makes what subsequently happened even sweeter. And all. culminating in the Accrington game that did feel like a massive release of emotion. All in all great TV.

Yeah a bit of license taken there. At the time we had the worst goal scored record in the league, which was what the table they showed said, but I don't think we ever had the worst away record in the traditional sense.

I think at that point in the season we had the lowest (or joint lowest) away goals scored in the division - which is what the graphic showed.

But agree it was a bit misleading as it was up only briefly - and that having lowest goals scored is of course different to saying we had the worst form.

Enjoyed the episode and loved the Parky Accrington pre-match. Goes to show how a bit of over-celebrating can influence a manager's attitude to the next game...

Good to see Welsh colonialism celebrated in this one "to escape the English".

Gwladfa = Colony.

Argentina was already colonised by that point no? weren’t they invited over by the Spanish to settle poor land into farmland?

Good episode overall. Thinking back during that poor spell I remember some party out comments but think most fans were still backing the team, you’ll always have a few negative comments whatever situation your in.

Just gets better, really enjoyed that one despite that poor run of games.
We are very lucky to have owners of the calibre we have.

Also the focus was on away form but the Accrington game was a home win, so narratively it doesn't really work but they went with it cos the game landed on St David's Day and when the pategonians visited.
