The episode could have been called "Weak as P*ss" for the amount of times that phrase was uttered.

I like how much more dressing room / players content so far. It's more like what I imagined the documentary would be.

Season 2 lacked any meaningful dressing room footage so I'm glad this season's making it up.

Love to see Parky praise Bickerstaff and Steve Parkin being furious

 

[Wrexham Can]

This episode perfectly captured the disappointment, frustration and, yes, anger, that the start of the season brought.
Much more visceral than anything else we've seen in previous seasons.
And ultimately cathartic with the 2nd half against Swindon, even though we all know that there is more to come.
Some nice low key human interest too.
I loved this episode.

I like how much more dressing room / players content so far. It's more like what I imagined the documentary would be.

I’m actually surprised they went as much with it in the first two since their formula the other two seasons were to balance and focus more off pitch early then bring it home with on the pitch stuff in later episodes. Really there was too much compelling stuff early not to do a chunk on it though, I’m
sure they’ll have some more off pitch stuff in the middle episodes with the photographer probably finding his way into the stadium for a late season game.

Next episode also sounds like it’ll be mostly about the team only with the women’s team involved as well. I also read in Richard Sutcliffe’s review they did a bit on Mia Roberts after being released and he wondered if we’d see that kind of thing for men’s players going forward.

 

[Wrexham Can]

Enjoyed both episodes to be fair. The bit with the photographer considering he said he’d never been to a match.

I'm sure this will be a story arc.
I don't know if they'll be able to get the timing right but his first match ever could be the game against Forest Green.

Parkinson roasted them in the changing room and not one of them opened their mouths back to him. There's complete respect there.

Oh we get a Wrexham AFC men/women split episode. I can't wait for the RP Troglodytes to appear and declare how much they dislike women's football...again.

For me sometimes it won't play first time, but then you go back in and play it again and it works fine
