What's going on with the women's team?

The radio silence from the women's team is weird isn't it?

A lack of signings is one thing (and its own cause for concern) but I don't understand why there's no news about the preseason friendlies we've been playing.

Seems like we've played two in the last week - two away matches versus Shrewsbury and Leafield. We lost both by a single goal but there's been no mention of them via the club's social media or on the club's website.

Neither game was behind closed doors so why keep it secret?

I’m sure they announced a signing last week.
Season doesn’t kick off until mid September so loads of time left. Maybe keeping it a bit quieter after Rosiegate and the results abroad.
Did see a post from a player who is struggling with rehab post injury - didn’t look like the club were helping in the best way they could.

Looks like a striker. From Nantwich, previously at Stoke City Academy (where she played with Carra Jones) then went to the US to go to University for four years where she played Women's College football. Decent resume

I did see that but it seems like Cardiff, Swansea, TNS all strengthening and I was expecting something more from us.

Maybe. There's "a bit quieter" and there's not putting out anything about matches you're playing in or mentioning them on the your website. Just feels like they've gone from 0-60 and then back down to 0.

I'm sure a few would have popped down to the Shrewsbury game if the profile had been a bit higher.
