Wrexham 3 York 0

This team is going to be REALLY hard to beat with Foster in goal.

Having said that I thought Lee was terrible today and Mullin looks injured to me. He hasnt had the same pace or shot since the first Sheffield game.

Are you serious? Lee terrible!!!
Go for a lie down

Excellent display from Wrexham and deserved 2 or 3 more goals.
I'm not going to pick on any player who perhaps didn't have everything firing today.
But I do have to say what a great cameo for Sam Dalby. A fantastic headed goal and an absolutely sublime header assist for Lee's goal.
He's playing better and better each week with limited minutes.
Next season in League 2 he is going to be phenomenal.

He had good moment early on near goal and he scored, but other than that he looked tired and I did not think he looked like he was making good decisions. He certainly wasn't his explosive self in space and he passed up a free shot with the opposing keeper having slipped and laying on the ground.

Very comfortable win and only negative I can think is where has our aerial threat gone? The obvious answer is with Young, Davies, Hayden and TOC out of the team that has hugely weakened that part of our game but it was crying out for Dalby to come in to show them how it is done.

It is not his fault he is 6ft4 but Palmer is crap in the air (whilst being very good in other aspects); moreover Notts are weak in defending set pieces so need to get back to battering teams from throws and corners.

A minor complaint overall though.

I thought Jones scored our first.

Sometimes we expect too much. It was comfortable with only one shot on target from York who played 11 in their own half. Palmer and Mendy had an off day BUT Cannon, James and Lee are class in that midfield. Back 3 are a unit and Barnett is simply awesome. Dalby is getting better and better and yet still so
young. Finally Foster is world class. Save the slight mistake he was awesome

Lol… ‘palmer is crap in the air’ 😂😂😂

Really?

What a difference Ben Foster made . Calm assured and gave the defence confidence a great bit of business.

The work Lee does is worth his place alone but he is constantly trying to get things going; he played well today and bit harsh to claim otherwise because he didn’t try to score from 50 yards out.
