Yes a great chippy , park outside swift service and great fish and chips. Run by two ladies if I recall ?Was that Snelson's chippy om Poyser?
Wrexham Lager did not use an ace of clubs logo in the 70/80s. We also didn't use shillings and pence then unless you are talking about the 1870/80s ?Wrexham lager in the 70/80s was better than this stuff sold now it was more of a pilsner ace of clubs logo and 1s 10p a pint. Horse & Jockey, Cross Foxes, Commercial, and the Anchor that was my route.
.Wasn't Snelsons chippy on Ruabon Rd, I think it's called Eddie's or something now.....The one on Poyser St was called Heaps chip shop...Yes a great chippy , park outside swift service and great fish and chips. Run by two ladies if I recall ?

Having racked what's left of my memory capacity, I think you are right on that and I stand corrected in agreeing earlier that it was Snelson's. I remember the big 'HEAPS' sign over the shop frontage ... I think!.Wasn't Snelsons chippy on Ruabon Rd, I think it's called Eddie's or something now.....The one on Poyser St was called Heaps chip shop...
Yes you are right , Snelsons was on Pen y Bryn and I meet the son of the origional owner now and again .Ahh, it's all starting to come back. I don't remember Heaps and Snelson's was on Pen y Bryn.
