Derby day with town buzzing in the build up! Bit of a gap down to them already, Wrexham 2nd and Slops 20th! :D

This is a live match thread, so please help your fellow fan by posting updates & views. As LMTs have said for a decade, not all can attend or even listen in. As always please be respectful to fellow RP'ers in what you do post up, and for those looking back, this is was all posted at the time in-game...

COYR! 🔥

I am only guessing but, the only changes I would imagine from the Peterborough game will be Rathbone for Cannon and James J for Rath on the bench.

Is Cannon definitely out?

General consensus is hamstring, but you never know with Parky, he gives so little away, which I really like.

@Sir Crispin Lane I wrote this response and by the time I was ready to press post the thread had closed. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Two similar level clubs. Shrewsbury possibly spent more time as a lower half L1 club and Wrexham more of a L2 club (in my mind, not checked that), but both definitely clubs where L1/2 feels the natural level.

As a team that's never really maintained a long term rivalry, I find it really interesting.

A big difference between our two clubs is the number of other teams within close proximity. You have Chester, Crewe, Tranmere, Shrewsbury, Liverpool and Everton within a 30 mile radius. With the exception of the Liverpool clubs, you seem to have a rivalry with all of them.

Within a 30 mile radius, we have Crewe, Macclesfield, Stoke, Port Vale, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton, Wigan, Burnley, Blackburn, Accrington, Halifax, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Man United and Man City. Maybe we're just spoilt for choice.
