Default Re: Defensive qualities

On this sunny Sunday morning reflecting on a fantastic (not too strong a word) performance yesterday , and over a quarter of the season gone (strange stat , but true !) it's obvious we are going to be difficult to break down and we are going to be hard to beat for the rest of the season. I don't care if all the games are bores and Carrington passes backwards and sidseways when he plays, as long as we are near or at the top of this hell hole of a league. If there was an element of flash in the pan, somebody would have smashed us by now. And they haven't come anywhere near.
This has to be down to the manager , the coach, the defence they have fashioned and Pearson in particular. Dean Keates is a very very strong character and he has a stubbornness about him as well. if only Louis Moult was here, but you can't have everything.
