The need for a new forward and the attributes seems to be changing. Its not necessarily a free scoring forward we need but someone that is going to come in and improve the dynamic of the team. Yes as a forward they need to be able to score goals but its just as important that they are able to hold the ball up and bring others into play.
For me we have 4 forwards that are all similar in style and all for me a number 10 to play alongside a CF. Although Holyroyd does seem to be bale to hold the ball whereas the others struggle IMO.
The goal scoring problem is just not confined to the forwards though as we have a midfield that has not contributed a lot either. However the important thing should be to address the immediate problem - this being a CF.
