Just to let you know that both came through Craig Disley's testimonial tonight unscathed. I was going to post this on the thread I made last week but it's been closed for some reason.
Pearson played the first 25 minutes and Mackreth played the final half hour.
Despite Disley's All Stars taking the lead it finished 7-2 to the current Grimsby team, with Pearson being turned inside out by our on-loan winger for our 2nd.
Was a great night and good to see most of the promotion team back together and a nice change to see a few goals at Blundell Park after three 0-0 draws on the bounce.
