That’s why Miller made such a difference. His pace made counter-attack possible. If Quigley can do the same, it then means we can be a threat both when teams sit back AND when they come at us. That ability — if we have it, and the back four stay fit — is what’s needed to win us the league.
Agreed, I think people forget there are always 2 teams in a game of football and very rarely is a game of football a non-contest. Attack can be the best form of defence, but unless you are blessed with the type of players at Man City, teams will get beat unless they limit the space and find ways of stopping the opposition from playing. All teams in our league are capable of getting goals against us if we leave enough space.
