I’m well aware what social media is used for. I’m not really riled, just surprised and disappointed that they’d think doing that was a good idea. It was over the top and lead to unwarranted hype. It adds uneccessary pressure and they should have known, considering the ill-feeling and frustrations of recent weeks, that it would only succeed in underwhelming and disappointing.
That’s my opinion and I’m entitled to it - seems many share my opinion as well and like I say, I’d be interested to hear their reasoning behind it.
