Yes we were. That sale was the first step on a long road to managed decline. The team that performed so well that season was financed by Moss , albeit financed irresponsibly. Ownership since then has been purely “cash flow” in perspective , so has had to take a totally different approach. This approach is one of retrenchment and frugality, managing as best possible a club that is in decline because it can’t financially compete.
