I liked Rutherford in the centre of midfield after he came on for Young and thought SR made a brilliant sub bringing him on when Carrington was the obvious choice.. He didn’t stop running in the middle of the park which resulted in Boreham Wood giving Summerfield time and space to do what he does best. Rutherford’s end product wasn’t an issue either when he wasn’t needed to cross the ball or beat a man.. I’d like to see him in CM a couple more times this season.
