This is a good idea if we can keep a list of pledges on the forum and update it regularly.
I'll match you pound for pound and give half the amount if we fail.

I was thinking recently of something similar. Encourage local (North Wales, Shropshire and Cheshire) businesses to sponsor the team for £5 or £10 a point.
The bigger outfits wouldn't miss it and they could get some publicity from their "generocity"

Would need some effort from volunteers and the club though.
