A rookie manager finding his feet was doing a cautious job with some boring football but was building the foundation of a team. Most of that back 4 remains responsible for our present challenge. In time who knows? He was a a great player, captain and leader for our club but his heart lay where his current job may well be broken.
Unlike the snake he gave more than he took out of this club. Let us not forget that time he came back on the pitch, arm strapped up with a dislocated shoulder.
