FWIW I think Akil has improved but not at the rate I'd expect from a young player even at this level.
He appears to get into the right places in the box when needed but his overall game is lacking in awareness and skill. His close control is poor as is his distribution.
He's one of those 50/50 players for me. Half the time he's OK and the other half we'd be better with ten men.

Barrow was a classic example of playing a system that didn't suit your players. In fact, it's the game that makes me most worried about BH's suitability for the role - what on earth was he thinking?!
