Aren't fans also charged an extra £4 in the Yale stand as well? The difference in coinage is minimal, also I'd suspect a smaller away following comes with less police and security costs.
Many complained at the likes of Tranmere, Newport and even
Chester being given the University Stand in previous years due to the likely reduction in atmosphere. Those sat in the Uni stand, who undoubtedly make the most noise, are split over 2 stands when moved out of there so it's harder to get any sort of atmosphere going unless the game is completely action packed (like Tranmere 2 seasons ago). Even then, we have the 2 stands singing different songs all of the time.
I cannot wait for this one.
