I've heard that as well with Ricketts.
I work with a lad whos an ex Birmingham player and I asked him about training under different managers and he said that if the manager wasn't on your back all the time you'd skip it or not do what was expected unless you were very disciplined. Personally I don't think with the players we have you can give them an inch. Kind of reminds me with the Wes York fiasco downing the pints in the Acton. We need a manager who will take no shit off of players.
If we can get that sorted, get the players training right, practice the basics which we are sadly lacking at, decent set piece delivery then I think we still have a chance to push up the league. The issue is we need to act now and I don't trust the board to appoint the right person.
