Pete has done a great deal for the club, and I am sure he will continue to do so in whatever way possible. For that he deserves some praise, not ridicule.

However, I think now is the right time to hand on the baton to someone new. As the chairmanship seems destined to remain outside of the Wrexham AFC Board until a better constitution is adopted, it seems likely that none of the current club board will want the post. Therefore, someone new will get an opportunity to take the club forward. They will need the wisdom of a mystic, and the patience of a saint to stop the in-fighting within the WST, and also get most fans back on side.

Get it right and they will be lauded a hero; get it wrong and our predicament will worsen. Sadly, we mere mortals will have no input to the choice, which is another failing that needs addressing.
