And the prize for overreaction of the week goes to...
Firstly, if we win our game in hand (Aldershot away, very likely win) then we're 7 points adrift, not 10 and all of a sudden we're within the play-off places and things don't look as bad.
Secondly, form is often a temporary thing and eventually the teams at the top will start dropping points. All of the teams at the top have had much easier starts than ourselves and have dropped points in easier games, whereas we have only dropped points against other title favourites.
Lastly, we have a decent run of fixtures coming up after our extended break from league football. Would it not be fairer to judge the management team after this run, perhaps towards the end of November? For all we know, we could be knocking on the door by then!
