avoid the m5 around Bristol on saturday , there is usually big traffic problems as people head for the change over in Cornwall. The M5 backs up going over the avonmouth bridge and up the hill the other side . Typical starts from before Junction 16 Almondsbury/ m4 interchange .

The Gloucester services southbound are worth a stop, some great food/ farm shop.
