Exactly this, most disappointing signing for us.
Expectations were high but he simple hasn’t delivered, not having a pop at DK but we paid cash for him ....,
Wouldn’t be missed if he was sent on loan next week.

Late in the game he took on the full back and got tackled.full back then laid it off and set off on the overlap. Mackreth didn't go with him. Did my nut right in. That's why Rutherford is in the team ahead of him.

He's Keates' worst signing; particularly as we paid a fee.

I too didn't understand Mackreth's mindset - if he or the team lost possession he was so reluctant it appeared to track back and put a challenge in - unless DK instructed him to stay high up the flank and keep his energy for attacking the opposition - but he wasn't on long in total minutes so could have run around like a headless chicken - wasn't on long enough to tire. Seems so weak and lacks determination to beat his man - would happily swop him for that young Tranmere winger Ginnelly who ran his socks off.

Most disappointing signing of the season especially having paid a fee for him.

If we could sign a proper attacking midfielder,he could fill that spot. And if he played alongside wedge and Wright he would get more time and space.
