In the early 2000's we heard Bowled SHANE... as Gill[B]y[/B] would shout from behind the stumps, when Warne[B]y[/B]was bowling. With Punter (Ricky Ponting ) captaining and Pigeon (Glen McGrath) bowling from the other end. With Binga(Brett Lee) waiting to steam in with the second new ball. Mr Cricket (Mike Hussey) taking catches in the slips. All wishing that they were as good as the Donald (Don Bradman). Whilst Smudger (Steve Smith) watches on as child.

My favourite Aussie cricketers nickname is though is GOAT (Greatest Spinner of all time) for Nathan Lyon which has replaced his previous nickname of Garry(after the AFL player Garry Lyons. Yes I 'm a bit of cricket badger. Actually, got married in December 2010 so that we could go to the Ashes for our honeymoon.

We were formed from a cricket team, to keep the players fit in the winter. As it's summer it's cricket season so we can concentrate on that and forget about signings; as the club have:jester:

Sounds like the type of striker you probably need to take a risk and pay a bit for, but not all strikers from the league below manage to do it at this level.

In this case it might be worth a cheeky bid?

After all, if the player wants to go higher, sometimes the club have no choice unless they want an unhappy player....Whether we can afford that kind of money is another thing though I guess..
