He was signed within a fortnight of Hughes taking charge as he wanted cover in case of injuries.

Similar to most clubs.

I went last night and was really impressed.

Good work out against a good side.

Look a well coached team so early into the pre season

Jennings and Harris linked well down the left.

Summerfield looked good on his return.

The only ‘problem’ I have with last night was we won’t face a side like them all season. They just played total football all game. A more realistic challenge will be the Telford, Crewe games

What is your point exactly? We got a 3rd choice keeper in to cover injuries. That appears to be what we are doing now. Are you suggesting we should only go with two?

Lainton currently out with an ankle injury so surely this makes sense.

There’s no issue at all.

The point is that on the previous page I’m being told that we had 3 keepers last year and Hughes only signed a keeper for extra backup, when in reality it was because Lainton was injured in February.

If Lainton is injured for any part of the season, get ready for some “worldies” trickling past dibble.

Grant spent most of the half time warm up talking on the side lines came on and did very little Fondop looked over weight to me had one good effort on goal and Barton ran around a lot

Yes I am. We had two keepers for the majority of last season.
