Why didn’t Sargent and Thorn go?

Sounds harsh them being promoted to the first team squad but aren’t taken to the training camp.

Pretty sure they did go but just not included for tonight's game.

Impressions from tonight. Hard to tell what formation we were playing at times as it seemed to change a few times. We started off playing 5 at the back & the opposition looked incredible! We gradually got a foothold in the game but unfortunately let in the goal at this time. It came from a free kick out wide. Superb ball into the box & for some reason the defence stopped as 1 which allowed their player to ghost in & prod the ball home. Grant looks 10 times the player we saw last season & was desperately unlucky not to score. Barton was neat & tidy, can't remember him giving the ball away. Redmond looked good & JJ had their defence looking shaky along with Harris when they came on. We played some lovely football at times. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

Surprised that Barnum-Bobb wasn’t there. Hughes was full of praise for him after the first 2 friendlies. I was expecting him to be on the plane for this trip. As already mentioned we’ve taken trialists there on the previous trips.

What’s gone on there? Hughes changed his mind about him? Injured? Couldn’t agree terms? Hopefully somebody will ask during the interviews with him.

Commentary on Mixlr suggested they couldn't go because they're not 18 and Fondop couldn't go because of visa issues.
