Hartlepool Team and Predictions
Straight into another game against a struggling Hartlepool. We need to be better on the road and it’s a good opportunity against a poor side. They seem to have a key player absent in Molyneux.
Lainton, Carra, and Grant back in and Barton to start for me. Need to be seeing more of Redmond sooner rather than later. Lainton Carra Pearson Chambers Jennings Young Barton Redmond Grant Hooper Harris Dibble, Lawlor, Wright/Summers, Tollitt, Oswell. Hartlepool 0-1 Wrexham (Grant) 300 reds |
Re: Hartlepool Team and Predictions
Harris was dead on his feet in the second half today. Surprised he was not subbed with Hartlepool 48 hours away

Posted via mobile theme
Indeed he was. He was making all sorts of stupid decisions at the end of his runs. Really should have been substituted for his own good and for the team’s Good. As it was we took off the only player linking midfield and attack [Rutherford) and the game went away from us, |
Re: Hartlepool Team and Predictions
Be lucky to get more than a point. IMO.

Re: Hartlepool Team and Predictions
Hartlepool haven't had the best starts but we're awful away so probably be a draw.

We'll pump them 1-0.

Re: Hartlepool Team and Predictions
Yesterday’s heat sapped a lot of energy out of many of the players, so it will be interesting to see how BH reacts.
Essentially, we need a win and BH needs to freshen up his starting-XI. Hartlepool 1 Wxm 2 |
Re: Hartlepool Team and Predictions
A tough game regardless of their form and in front of a normally lively Hartlepool crowd, so 1-0 pools and turns our start into a poor one pressure mounting on Hughes.
|
Re: Hartlepool Team and Predictions
Lainton
Jazzi Lawlor Pearson Jennings Summers Young Devonte Harris Hooper Grant I'd recall lawlor and lainton. Persist with jazzi because he can attack. Summerfield has to continue as I'm not convinced we have a better option Posted via mobile theme |
Re: Hartlepool Team and Predictions
Can't see many goals, After yesterday's poor performance I think we might score one and hold out for a draw.

We have to overcome our erratic away form. If BH is happy with Harris and he is top scorer then where is Tollitt going to fit? Lets not see another average game from Mr average and keep Ruthers for last minute! |
Re: Hartlepool Team and Predictions
I'd go for something a bit more solid looking:
Lainton Carra Pearson Chambers Jennings Barton Young Wright Harris Hooper Grant Subs: Dibble Tollitt Summerfield Oswell Redmond |
Re: Hartlepool Team and Predictions
I’d have grant in and summerfield benched.
Problem is it’s the midfield we’re struggling with and we have very little option wise. |
Re: Hartlepool Team and Predictions
They're in poor form, this really needs to be a win. 3-1 wrexham

When we're playing away it doesn't really matter about the opposition's form. |
Re: Hartlepool Team and Predictions
Lainton if he's fit but happy enough with Dibbs
JBB Chambers Pearson Jenno Barton Young Harris, Summers Grant or Tollitt Hooper Subs Dibbs/Lainton Carra Redmond Oswell Ruthers |

That’s his/her opinion. Not everybody watches the games through rose tinted specs. The squad is no better than last years. We’ve scored a few more goals mainly because we aren’t playing with that deep lying midfielder/extra centre back. We’ve also conceded more for the same reason. Roberts was better defensively than Bobb and we’ve also missed Lainton. |

It’s a prediction thread, just looked through all the posts and noticed you haven’t predicted a score so I have no idea why you’re replying to me. |

Why wouldn't form matter ? Or do you mean our away form is too poor to take advantage ? |

We're going to spank someone and it could be Pool, or not.

I’ve got to say anything other than 3 pts and I’ll be disappointed. Zero points will be a disaster.
0v2 Wrexham. 349 reds there. |

Are we? I don’t know where you got that impression from, if anything we could of got spanked against Notts County there’s more chance of that happening than us spanking someone. |

Fact - every game we have so far played there is a regular pattern - no more than one goal has been the difference between the two teams. I have had the thought for some considerable time that for some reason we don't have a killer instinct - like it's almost kicked out of us in training - no desire no eagerness to treat the two 45 minute halves as ones we should do our utmost to win - happy to bumble along and not put games to bed when we have the chance - all desire and effort must be to put the ball in the net of the opposition until we can see clear daylight - we have not scored more than two goals in a match, more often than not just a single goal - two consecutive red cards may have thrown up a temporary smokescreen but somehow I doubt it. Struggling to keep clean sheets on a par with last season so with our away form it looks like we will need to score at least 2 goals to win a game. |
Re: Hartlepool Team and Predictions
Tough game for two teams struggling for form.
Draw on the cards. 0-0 |
