Is that out of Ignorance or is it just another unsubtle jibe? |
Re: What role is the WST now playing?
Considering they've known about the takeover for some time, I'm surprised there's been nothing proactive from the WST on their future role already.
A rebrand and building bridges with the fan base is required in the short term given some of the recent events. It would be good to have a strong voice for the fans under the new ownership. As good as their intentions are, it's always a must. I'm just not sure it would be a good look though if some of the individuals who have talked down to other supporters or even tried to cost them their jobs are involved in that set up.
Maybe the ploy is to lie low for a while and let the dust settle. I’m expecting the Trust to set out their own visions for the WST in the coming weeks and months. A re-branding would be a good starting point! |
Re: What role is the WST now playing?
it is a plain fact, many Wrexham fans have uttered "what the ---- are the trust doing" especially over the last four years

WST remain leaseholders , R & R will pay £115,000 a year to the trust. |
Re: What role is the WST now playing?
If there are different people at the top with different values and goals, there should be no reason not to get behind the trust.
