Lets see how he performs this time round after a pre-season fitness and hopefully with some better players.

The notion it was Grant having an attitude problem that caused a clash with Joey Barton? Sorry to come across all Del Boy, but are you not
au fait with Joey Barton's
oeuvre?
Regarding Grant, disappointing as he may have been, I think there's a decent footballer in there somewhere. There were (very) brief flashes of it, and I don't think we were in any way set up to play to his strengths. Is that a problem with his attitude? Maybe it's his lack of flexibility? As many have observed, the lack of sparkle from most of the other attack-minded players over the past few years would suggest there is a fundamental problem with way the team is set up.
I'm sure Bryan Hughes is more than aware of this. Can he fix it? I've no idea. I hope so, but it's going to need round pegs for those round holes, and that's easier said than done. Grant could thrive in the correct formation, playing alongside players which suit it. Then again, maybe Holroyd could too. And Boden. I refuse to believe they're all shite.
