I'm not going to win this argument but dont forget once we were safe that season, DK loaned out our 2 best players, (Rooney & Tilt) both who having indicated they wouldn't sign a new deal at Wxm to help finance bringing the likes of Manny Smith & Pearson. It was the following season where we saw the improvement.
No one is saying he is a saviour, or excusing him for walking out but he is back bringing in his own players and me for one am prepared to give him a second chance
