Maybe. But Jalal wasn't good enough, and Dunn is our goalkeeping coach and would serve as decent backup. So I don't think there's much to it really.

I tell you what though so many fans are hypocrites, the people on twitter and Facebook having a love in with players who aren't good enough and slagging off keates will be the same ones berating the players during the season and calling for a clear out, you can't win! Have faith in keates, no sentimentality in football, dead wood cleared, onwards and upwards!

I would guess White and Riley were both on a big wage and Keates thinks he can get better players for the money. It was rumoured that Mills handed out very generous contracts.

We can't call for home grown players in the squad on one hand then ship them out to Tamworth and Bala as soon as they get near the 1st team!

It isn't permanent, but surely it's better for their development that they play first team football rather than sit on the bench for us? In my opinion, they're not ready to be regular first teamers but they'll have every chance to show what they can do and push for a place.

I can see the logic but we need some squad players with a small squad so think it's of.more benefit to us to keep those 3 to step in when needed due to injury and suspension and continue their football education with us.

We'd have the opportunity to recall them if necessary. I don't think we'll ship all 3 out for what it's worth. I think we'll at the very least have Marx in the matchday squad as first back up at CB.

Keates has done the business that 95% have been calling for all season.

Let's not forget, Keates has just bombed the worst squad in the history of Wrexham Football Club and I for one am backing him 100%.

We can and will get better for the same or less.

Marx has been very impressive for a raw young player in a struggling team. I would hope he will be a regular in the squad next season unless DK feels he would benefit from a loan spell. Smith and Harry both look to me like players who need a regular run of games at a slightly lower level.

Another good job done by DK. Now we focus on building a squad capable of competing for promotion. DK knows what he wants, let's hope the players on his target list sign on the dotted line.

Generally happy with that. Although I would have preferred to see Penn and Rutherford leave too maybe Keates has got them on lesser wages to be squad players. Would also prefer him not to offer Jennings terms either, he really isn't that good and has major discpline problems.

DK has a full squad on his wanted list. There is no way he would have let any go if he couldnt get better in and for better value too. Exciting few weeks coming up, I can guarantee that now!!!!!!

I am now looking forward to next season now. A dreadful season has forced the hand of DK to make deep cuts. Personally, I would have kept White as he has improved as the season progressed. Riley wanted to stay but his wage demands were obviously unreal. Rutherford should start buying lottery tickets on his way home- I have never witnessed any of his qualities. Let's move on and be positive!

So in total 15 released and 5 retained (assuming they a sign where applicable) Penn, Dunn, Carringon, Jennings and Rutherford, plus the three youngsters (Smith, Harry and Marx)

Not bad at all when you see it like that in black and white.
