No chance of that. He signed a 2.5 year deal in Feb 2016 with the option of a further year.

I'd imagine that he'd be on a similar wage to some of our squad given that he was in the Conference North when he signed that deal.

That's the problem though - 'is there any substance' to it?

Some people have the opinion of no based on each clubs wage structure and some have an opinion of yes based on an unsubstantiated rumour.

If we did manage to sign him it would be a great coup by DK and all the ayes and noes would be happy anyway.
