I had some going a couple of months back.

Minimum wage plus bonuses for performance rather than all basic , but my best paid packer is on track for £47k this year. He really grafts for it. There are a couple of women on track to do about 43k too.

In a previous job it was quite normal for factory workers to make 50k with overtime and the o/t was at single time not time and a half.

So yes I can't see Ricketts having been on less than 50k.

Either a tactic to entice him or a hint that it might be done. Unless Barrow's gone off message then the club usually drills people on what to say in those scenarios.

That's sloppy reporting by the bbc. Considering the bbc are televising the 3rd round game on the 6th Jan, it's poor for them to say the game is from the 4-7th Jan.

High wages is the main reason that site got closed. Basic for a night worker (4 nights on, 3 nights off) was about 35k but there was always plenty of overtime. That was 6 years ago.

Some of the guys I come across with my job at factory’s are on £50k+

Suppose its your definition of a factory. I think joe public think factory is very basic low skill minimum wage jobs, whereas some factories are high tech requiring a high skilled workforce.
