50k views on his first short vid - possibly restarting his youtube too?

He has had a lot of focus over the summer with some big accounts on twitter/youtube noticing his work.

When he posts a vid now the numbers shoot up like a fruit machine!

Could be trouble brewing though as it seems hes had a warning from club staff today not to film games or copyright strikes will be issued against his account - basically get too many of them and you may get shut down.

Seems completely bizarre that Spencer is tweeting to welcome him back but the club are telling him not to film games!

Makes me sick to the core.

Bootlegger is not the only one - others also have been warned over the copyright issue - it's bizzare that genuine fans who used to film video clips and publish them for fellow supporters thereby giving good publicity and spreading the gospel to fellow fans throughout the world who can't attend matches are warned / prevented.

In all honesty what is the club worried about ?

Bootlegger is head and shoulders above anything else we have - he should be encouraged not thwarted.

The only thing I can say in the club’s defence is that maybe there’s pressure from the league to ensure that copyright isn’t infringed, given that there is a focus on live games and highlights packages. I’m guessing though; if it’s just the club objecting to that nature of the videos, which are hardly likely to put you off coming, then it’s just another side of what a corporate club this, ahem, community club is. It’s worth pointing out that when the Inclusion Football Club split from WFC they were ordered to change their badge with a speed that Man United or Disney would be in awe of.

Seems completely bizarre you don’t understand that BT have the rights to show any highlights of a game and might get difficult with Bootlegger if his highlights package gets 180k views and the official highlights posted by BT sport gets under 10k.
