Have you ever noticed how, during his post-game 'interviews', he hardly ever looks at the interviewer, but turns and peers into the distance.
Maybe the questions induce in him a fog of boredom, but maybe, despite his reputation for being immovably sure of his own opinions, he actually is not at all sure of himself, despite all these years of mucking around in the lower leagues.
I hope he gets it together soon....
Ah, it’s the old ‘ridicule the man in post match interviews’ post.

Didn't Mari Edwards leave the club on a match day when the team played away?

Just saying...
Sacking him now smacks of panic and desperation. Parkinson deserves a transfer window to bring in reinforcements.
To be fair, if there is any "Panic" or "Desperation", that's down to Parkinson and the team's crap start and already being so far behind.

Re: Phil Parkinson

even though i voted him to depart, I do think he will be given January - depending on next few results. Apart from the FA Trophy we have no distractions at all now and all focus should be on the solid push up the table.

I think some have mentioned it previously. Mansfield didnt have a great season when they were promoted. only won 30 games and actually lost 11 along the way. we just need to stop dropping points and throwing 3 away so easily...

TBF the poll is closer than I would have thought it would be.
I did vote leave but only under the proviso we have a replacement lined up like Michael Flynn.
If no-one was lined up I would keep.
Phil Parkinson.

Does he stay or does he depart?

Your thoughts...
Obviously he will depart WAFC but when is the question. I fully expect our new owners to give him a while longer just to see if things improve. If they dont he will be well gone before next March.

Re: Phil Parkinson

The problem is that the year Mansfield went up they were not up against the quality of opposition that exists now in the likes of Chesterfield, Stockport, Notts County or Grimsby.

The National league has, and is, changing so much, and I'm not sure Parkinson and some of those around him were quite prepared for the level of opposition we face week in and week out - especially with the profile we now have. We seem to be everyone's cup final.

Let's hope they all learn quickly and in January we can put the last pieces together for a solid play off push.

Exactly, and I was one of many who didn't expect the title this season, but the massive investment building on last seasons near miss should have us in the top 5 minimum
