Maybe charge a pound a man to get into the cent on matchdays, hope I don't upset to many by saying this.

Are we just getting more cash to get into the playoffs or to win the league.

Would need to increase the budget £300k per year or more just to have a go at the playoffs.

Winning the league could take £500k or more per season.

Maybe start asking members for £12 a month instead of a year.
If we want to win this league I reckon we will need £300000 plus!!!
Unless we drop lucky and get some really good players in on season long loans, we've got to aim high though because to get out of this league will need a big push. On top of good management, similar to what the Cowley's are doing at Lincoln City. Fingers crossed for us that Dean Keates can emulate what they have done!

More than that. Build a budget is hocus pocus, a finger in the hole of the dyke and trying to make it look like everything is ok; cruelly taking yet more money off people who haven't got much and trying to make it look like it will make a difference.

Playing devils advocate here.
If we raise a load by money and somehow miss out on promotion next season will we try and do the same thing for the season after next? Alternatively if we win promotion will we need to do the same again end of next season to give him a budget to do well in league 2.

I know we want to give Keates as big a budget as possible but shouldn't we be looking to develop extra revenue streams rather than rely on one-off charity donation projects.

I'm all for build the budget just wonder what people think about it long term?

It has been mentioned that this is an ongoing project.

Promotion brings with it tv money and C of E funding so we shouldn't need to do it if we are successful next season. But if we do who does it hurt? People aren't donating money they can't afford. We give what we can and every little helps

It's not.

You can't keep on going back to the same people asking for more.

You'd end up losing money. The amount who wouldn't bother because of the fact there's an entrance fee would mean less pints sold in the cent.
