![]() Wasn't expecting to enjoy this episode as much as I did. The montage at the end proper got me.

![]() Wow that was an emotional sledgehammer at the end.
As I'm not local my connection with the club comes directly from my Dad, we started going to Wrexham when we moved up to the area when I was around 10 and it became our thing. When he died when I was in my mid 20s I stopped going and didn't go back for about 5 years (I'd follow online but wasn't going to any games) - I couldn't face going to the ground. Took quite a bit to take me back. I hadn't really thought about how much it had affected me until I was watching that. A surprising episode, and I don't think I've ever seen anything looking into that specific connection between Dad's and Sons and sport. |

![]() Many of us ‘Reds’ have been fortunate to go to games with our Dads , great times and great memories. It makes it that much more difficult when they’re no longer with us. It certainly brings a lump to my throat when I attend games without my Dad and think how thrilled he would be to see us heading in the right direction.

![]() Wow … watching in Australia asa fan who can only visit occasionally this really hit my heart strings
My Dad introduced me to the Racecourse as a kid and I took my boys onto Wrexham but all games postponed so I am still to watch them with my boys. They have watched all episodes with me and one day we all plan to watch Wrexham together. I will really look forward to that day

![]() After the opening few minutes, with the focus on the lovefest between Wrob and Wryan, I thought I wasn't going to like this one.
But it developed into a bigger story of the love between the town and the club being passed on from father to son. That happened to me and my brother, so of course it resonated strongly with me. The comments from the woman (was she a psychologist or psychiatrist?) seemed initially to be slightly derogatory but did yield some interesting insights that I hadn't considered before, but I certainly do not agree with everything she said. A bit of an emotional rollercoaster at times. Having said all that, and at the risk of being unfairly accused of being woke, or a snowflake, it all felt a bit 'out of it's time'. Historically, football support has been dominated by men and still largely is, but I felt this episode missed the opportunity of addressing the burgeoning interest of women and girls in the game and with Wrexham in particular. Several of the participants in the docuseries are female with a clearly strong, and arguably equal, attachment to the club. I hope we get to see that side of the story told in season 2
