Wasn't Keates his captain when he had that tantrum at the Kop end when he took the ball off him over wanting to take a penalty, a few years back, classic.

Not sure about the Dutch league but clearly he was only a nit part player there. I wouldn't imagine he was in much at Crewe or Patrick thistle, probably less of a wage at Patrick than boden would have got at ICT. All supposition but don't think he is out of our range

It may be a blessing in the long run to wait for the permanent signing as our budget may increase if Moult is sold. However, we need to be getting points in the bank now. You make a good point Rob. Difficult isn't it. Perhaps at the moment strikers of the quality we need are not available to sign for whatever reason. We of course don't know who Dean is after or what he has been told. Perhaps he knows that we have more chance of getting the quality we need in the next window. I think we need to trust Dean. If he feels it is best to wait then that is good enough for me.
