And the Ju-devan peoples front
If you want to join you really have to hate the Wrexham. I do really hate them. Your in. The only thing we hate more than Wrexham is the People’s fromt of Ju-Deva. LOL. Last edited by pagl; 24th January 2018 at 05.43:44.. |

Re: Chester.
They'll finish 4th bottom, and stay up as some poor buggers will go bust again. They love a good club killing at the Deva.
Thing is, I think they need to go down and regroup. Playing in and around the bottom of this league, losing games, year in year out isn't helping them. Attendances are only going one way. |

They haven’t got enough loyal fans to sustain the club as we’ve seen many many times. Plus their fans seem to be constantly split, falling out and there’s a huge disconnect between those running the club and the fans. It must be gut wrenching for them to be forever looking at us with jealousy and envy season after season. Last edited by Phils-an-alki; 24th January 2018 at 09.50:00.. |

Re: Chester.
If the club needs money... | Devachat
what is your suggestion? 8 years ago, the club needed money to get itself off the ground and give us a chance of fighting back. You all stepped up to the plate and delivered. 2800 people at our first home league game was simply unbelievable. We can see where the club is heading right now, that's there for all to see. The club needs money. Now we also know there is no white knight out there waiting to come and save the day. There are more likely to be vultures waiting out there to try and benefit from a club suddenly struggling to make ends meet. Do we want those vultures to suddenly rip the club apart once again like last time? The stark reality is that we as fans need to put some real plans together. It's our club. It's your club. We are the guardians of it, so let's help it rather than hammer it into the ground. One of my reasons for getting involved 8 years ago is that I couldn't stand back and see our club die (forget what those over the border sing. They haven't got a clue what we went through). We had to come up with a plan, and we did. The owner at the time had one motivation, to drag it down and kill it. He certainly dragged it down but did he kill it? No. It was the start of a new chapter. Now, we're at a point where we all need to come together again, like it or not, the club needs money and our help. There are various ways in which money can be raised to get this fantastic proud club back off its knees again. We all love following the Blues. We go through life feeling frustrated, happy, annoyed, delirious, cheesed off, passionate, fed up, nervous .. The list goes on but we all come back for more because we are Chester fans simple as that, we all bleed blue and white. So it's up to us as fans and guardians, to do what's best for our club. We're all supporters, so let's go the extra mile and support it right now. It doesn't take a genius to see that attendances are the main reason for lack of income at the club. Players are being offloaded as we don't have the money to keep them on. Who wants to give in, not bother any more, and just say call it quits? If you fall in that category, then what was the point of doing what we did 8 years ago? Remember how it felt when the fans rallied together. We changed things for the better, everyone enjoyed the experience so so much. We can help the club, so the challenge is how can you raise money for your club? Sorry for the war and peace email, but that's clearly where we are right now. Ask yourself, what's the alternative? For me it doesn't bear thinking about. Thursday night's CFU meeting at the club is a chance for the board to tell everyone how it is right now, be as transparent as possible and have a clear idea of what we need to do to put things right. We need to leave that meeting with more actions than words.. Jeff |
